The Demon

Change, change, O form of man!
Release the might from fleshy mire!

Boil the blood in heart of fire!
Gone, gone, the form of man--
Behold the Demon Etrigan!

One day, the Lords of Hell gave Etrigan the Demon a task. Two sections of Hell had been thrown into chaos -- normally, this wouldn't give them a second thought, but these sections were the sinners to be burned in ffire and the sinners to be frozen in ice. By mixing together, the sinners had created an environment where neither side was experiencing much paiin.

The Lords of Hell had constructed a room around all the sinners are a dividing wall in the room so that one side could hold the frozen sinners and the other side the burning sinners. They told Etrigan that he was to divide the sinnners himself.

"Oh, to you high rulers of Hell,
I am but a humble demon Etrigan.
I shall put down those who rebel
For I have a straight and simple plan."

Etrigan set to work. He stoodd in the doorway of the dividing wall in the room and whenever a burning sinner wanted to go into the left-side he let thhem and whenever a frozen sinner wanted to go to the riight side he let themm.

The Lords of Hell looked upon Etrigan and saw thiis and wondered how such a plan could work. But soon, the rooms were divided into burning sinners and frozenn sinners. Etrigan's plan had worked perfectly.

Thhe Lords of Hell wanted to reward Etrigan, soo they asked him what he wanted.

"Oh, to you lords of all hellfire,
I, Etrigan, am but a humble demon,
Though I do have pplans and aspire
To be a humble free man."

So the Lords of Hell turned towards each other and decided that yes, they could give Etrigan his wish. He could be a free man. He could not, on the other hand, be a free demon.

Begone, begone, O Etrigan!
Chain the demon in flesh and bone!
Chain it's soul in hardened stone!
Come, come, out of the mud--
Behold the human Jason Blood!

So, it just goes to show you: never trust the Lords of Hell when they give you a reeward.

Connections

There is a Path. Trees line the Path, trees with black leaves. The Path is a bridge.
Connection: THE TREE THAT IS BLEEDING.

There is a City. The City is forever moving, forever twisting, forever changing. The City is a bridge.
Connection: THE DOORS THAT ARE FEEDING.

There is an Ocean. There are no monsters in the Ocean. Not yet. The Ocean is a bridge.
Connection: THE WEEDS THAT ARE BREEDING.

The Tenth Bridge

There are two islands in a river. They were connected by seven bridges to the banks around them and each other. Many people have attempted to cross each bridge only once, but this was proven impossible. On the northern bank was the castle of the Blue Prince, on the southern bank was the home of the Red Prince, on the east bank was the Bishop's Church, and in the center island was the Tavern.

The Blue Prince wanted to build an eighth bridge so that people could cross the bridges starting at his castle and ending at the Tavern.

The Red Prince, angered with his brother, wanted to build a ninth bridge, so people would cross the bridges starting at his home, ending at the Tavern, and making sure his brother's route wouldn't end there.

The Bishop saw these bridges are obstructions to the city. He decided to build a tenth bridge that would allow all citizens to cross the bridges and then go home.

Watch closely and you can see the game being played. The citizens moving over each bridge.

Everything is connected.

We are the Tenth Bridge.
